A day out with Walter. We were collected from the site with our bikes and taken on a tour. We went up through Appin to Glen Coe (I'm not sure why an athlete has a Glen named after him - perhaps it is because of the olympics.) Then we were dropped off at the top of Glen Etive and cycled down to Loch Etive - 13 miles downhill. Walter was waiting at the bottom and drove us all the way back up then round and down Glen Orchy. Then all the way down Glen Lonan and back to the site through Connel. Tonight we are taking Walter out for a meal again (last night we took him to the Creagan Inn) and we are meeting up with Winnie too - we are dining at the Hawthorn near Tralee Beach.
What amazing photos and a downhill bike ride. Perfect.
