Friday. Alet les Bains, nr Limoux.

So farewell to Laruns. Wonderful sunrise to make up for the wet days.



Then up a windy narrow road to Col d'Aubisque where the scenery was stunning.





We also learned about time restrictions on mountain roads. You could go up and down to Laruns but to continue you had to wait till 1.00 as the road was a one way street for Motorhomes and the morning direction was up. So we waited and walked and took photos.





We also saw more birds and got a better shot of the vultures.

Then on to Col de Soulor for more scenery.


Then a fast trip across country - as we were running late we took the Peage (toll motorway) which saved time but not money - and are safe at Alet les Bains site. By a river and a road and trees all around. But set in the middle o a Cathar village.
