Sunday, Camping del Remei, Pont de Suert.

Saturday's text addition to the day's photographs is currently orbiting cyberspace; having been uploaded to the Blog by the Boss, from the Assistant's iPad, it subsequently never arrived. Anyone who intercepts it will read that we visited a Food Fair in Suert and enjoyed looking at stalls loaded with lovely food, walnuts in honey, fresh home baked bread, spicy sausages, olives of many different kinds, liqueurs, pastries, preserves, forest mushrooms and more. Furthermore, they will read, we walked in the woods later and saw clear evidence of wild boar, though not, sadly, the boar themselves. And a little dark brown squirrel, washing its face in a tree.

Sunday, and this is being written on the Boss's iPad to avoid further missing offerings, was sunny and bright and just right for cycling up the Val de Boi which is absolutely glorious. The mist from the river at the start of the ride made the valley look magical and mysterious, and ponies in the photograph steamed gently in the cold air.

Two new birds today, not exciting ones, long tailed tits and a nuthatch, and some very good views of a red backed shrike and his missus.

Once again we are the only ones on site. The damp cyclist with the tiny floppy tent and the VW Camper with the lady who dried her hair in the gents toilet (Himself greeted her politely and carried on with his business) have gone.

It is James's birthday today, Happy Birthday James, we are sorry to miss you on your brief visit to Paris and to the UK but we hope you have a good time.
